Martin Norén, Partner
Martin Norén holds an MSc in Economics from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg and has worked in the fixed income market since graduating in 1995. In 2007, Martin Norén co-founded the fund company Carlsson Norén Asset Management, a specialist in institutional fixed income management, where he has managed the Macro Fund since its inception. Between 2002 and 2007, Martin Norén was responsible for the fixed income portfolio at Volvo Treasury, and between 1997 and 2002 he worked as a portfolio manager at Aragon, later Kaupthing Bank. In 1995, Martin Norén began his career as an interbank trader at Banque Indosuez.
Ola Björkmo, CEO and Partner
Ola Björkmo, Managing Director of the company. Ola Björkmo holds an MSc in Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics and has been working in the financial market since 1986. Between 2010 and 2023, Ola Björkmo was CEO and manager of QQM Fund Management. Between 2005 and 2009 he was CEO of Öhman Kapitalförvaltning and between 2000 and 2005 he was one of the founders and managers of the hedge fund Manticore at Brummer & Partners. Prior to that, Ola Björkmo held several senior positions within the Öhman Group, first as Head of Quantitative Analysis and then Head of Asset Management. Ola Björkmo is a board member of the Grönbergska Foundation for Medical Research and was a board member of the Swedish Society of Financial Analysts between 2011 and 2015.
Gustav Andåker, Head of Discretionary Mandates, Partner
Gustav Andåker holds a master's degree in economics, with a specialization in portfolio theory, from the Gothenburg School of Economics and has since 2008 worked as a portfolio manager and senior portfolio manager at Loft Investments, Consensus Asset Management and SIP Nordic Fondkommission. Between 2020 and 2022, he was co-manager of Vinga Corporate Bond.

Fredrik Carlsson, partner
Fredrik Carlsson holds an MSc in Economics from the Gothenburg School of Economics and has over 30 years of experience in the financial markets. In 2007, Fredrik Carlsson co-founded the fund company Carlsson Norén Asset Management, a specialist in institutional fixed income management, where he has managed the Macro Fund since its inception. Between 1997 and 2007, Fredrik Carlsson worked at Volvo Treasury, and from 2001 as head of the bond portfolio with discretionary assignments for the Volvo Pension Fund. Between 1990 and 1997, Fredrik Carlsson held several different positions as a position holder and fixed income trader, partly at SEB and partly at Handelsbanken in Singapore.
Jonas Sandefeldt, Head of Systematic Strategies, Partner
Jonas Sandefeldt holds an MSc in Engineering Physics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and has also studied economics at Stockholm University. Jonas Sandefeldt has worked in the financial markets since 1998, including as a quantitative analyst at the 1-3 AP Fund and at Brummer & Partners. Between 2006 and 2010, Jonas Sandefeldt worked as a portfolio manager and analyst at Öhman, with a special focus on quantitatively driven investment strategies. Between 2010 and 2023, he worked as a portfolio manager at QQM Fund Management, where the QQM Equity Hedge fund received several international awards over the years.
Jonas Sandefeldt is the lead manager for Meriti Neutral, Meriti Global and Meriti High Dividend Equities.
Martin Dahlgren, Partner
Magnus Dahlgren holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management from Chalmers University of Technology, an MSc in Economics from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg and a Diploma in Financial Analysis from the Stockholm School of Economics. Between 2014 and 2025, Magnus Dahlgren worked at Carlsson Norén and has been the responsible manager of the Yield Opportunity fund since its inception in 2019. Prior to that, Magnus Dahlgren worked as a credit, equity and macro analyst and fund manager at, among others, SEB, the Sixth AP Fund and the Second AP Fund.
